About Suzanne

Suzanne was born in Westchester County, NY.  She attended art school from the age of 10 and graduated from Connecticut College with a B.A. in Art History.  She took graduate courses at Columbia University and she also studied at The New School for Social Research and the Art Student's League in N.Y.C. with Julian Levi, Stuart Davis, Kuniyoshi and Anthony Toney.

Suzanne started with oils before she found that the medium of watercolor was enchanting.  She learned that Charles Reid was considered the top watercolorist in the country and since 1985 has taken annual workshops with Mr. Reid.

Suzanne has been juried into over 50 watercolor shows since 1993 and she has won several significant prizes.  Among then are the $1,000 Best of Show at the Oklahoma National, the Grumbacher Gold Medal at the Louisiana National in 1998 and several other cash awards plus numerous honorable mentions.
